Privacy Policy

Your information. Handled with care.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it and how to contact us about it.

Effective date: 30 September 2026

1. Who we are

Olouioo, ABN 61 325 309 755. For privacy questions or correspondence, contact info@olouioo.com.au.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, billing and event address, organisation, booking selections, event schedule, correspondence and payment transaction details.

We may receive venue access instructions and onsite contact details needed to deliver an experience. Only provide another person's information when you have authority to do so and let them know why it is being shared.

Where necessary to accommodate a request, you may choose to provide allergy or dietary information. Some of this can be sensitive information. We will seek consent where required and limit collection to what is reasonably needed. Avoid sending guests' names or health details if an anonymous requirement is sufficient.

When you use our Shopify website, technical information such as your IP address, browser, device details and website interactions may be processed to operate and secure the website and checkout.

3. How we collect information

We collect information when you submit a form, book online, request a quote, contact us, subscribe to updates or otherwise supply it. We may receive booking information from an authorised event organiser or relevant service provider where reasonably necessary to fulfil your request.

You can make a general enquiry without identifying yourself where practicable. We will need sufficient contact, payment and event details to confirm and provide a booking.

4. Why we use it

We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, recommend and plan experiences, process bookings and payments, coordinate delivery, communicate changes, provide support, maintain necessary records, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Where permitted, we may send marketing communications in accordance with your preferences and applicable law. Marketing consent is separate from accepting booking terms. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing message or contact us. Essential booking communications may still be sent.

5. Payments and website providers

Our website uses Shopify. When you pay, your information is processed by the payment service selected at checkout under its applicable terms and privacy notice.

We use payment status and transaction information to manage your booking, invoices and any applicable refunds. Please do not send payment-card details by email.

6. Sharing information

Where reasonably necessary for the purposes described, information may be shared with website and hosting providers, payment processors, delivery and event personnel, relevant suppliers, customer-support providers and professional advisers.

We limit event information shared with suppliers to what they need for their role. Information may also be disclosed where required or authorised by law. Contact us if you would like information about the providers involved in handling your booking.

7. Overseas processing

Some providers may process or store information outside Australia. Shopify and payment providers may use international infrastructure. Contact info@olouioo.com.au for information about the providers and overseas handling relevant to your enquiry or booking. Shopify explains its practices at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Where applicable, we take the steps required by Australian privacy law in relation to overseas disclosure. Using our website does not, by itself, waive protections that apply to your information.

8. Cookies and preferences

Essential technologies help the website and checkout function. Provider technologies may also support website performance and fraud prevention. Shopify provides further information about its technologies at https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies.

You can manage browser cookies through browser settings and, where available, our website's preference controls. Restricting essential cookies may affect checkout or other functions.

9. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected and to meet applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to legal obligations.

10. Access, correction and deletion requests

Contact info@olouioo.com.au to request access to or correction of information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity in a proportionate way. We will respond within a reasonable period and explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfil a request.

You may also ask us to delete information. We will consider the request, but may need to retain records for legal or other legitimate purposes. This policy does not promise an unrestricted right to deletion where one does not apply.

11. Privacy concerns

If you have a concern, send details to info@olouioo.com.au. We will acknowledge it, investigate and aim to provide a substantive response within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will explain why and provide an update.

If unresolved, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, where the matter falls within its jurisdiction. Visit https://www.oaic.gov.au for information about eligibility and the complaints process.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The current version will appear on this page with its effective date. Where required, we will provide further notice or obtain consent for a new use of information.
